Returns & Refunds

Please make your selection carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described or are different to the product purchased on the website.


  • Items must be returned within 14 days of the order delivery date. Any items posted after this time frame may be denied.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed and free from any stains or marks to be eligible for either a refund or store credit.
  • Items must have all tags and hangtags attached and be in their original condition.
  • When we have received your returned package, all returned items will be inspected before a refund or store credit is issued.

Sale Items

Unfortunately, Gypsy and the Chef does not offer returns or exchanges on sale items. If a product is deemed faulty by Gypsy and the Chef after purchase, our Customer Service Team may offer store credit or a refund at their discretion.

Afterpay

For returns purchased through Afterpay, we offer a store credit as a gift card. Your personal agreement with Afterpay still stands, including any scheduled repayments. The store credit will be deposited for the total value of the item(s) returned. For any further queries, contact Afterpay on 1300 100 729.

Gift Cards

Gypsy and the Chef gift cards have a one-year expiry from the date they are purchased and will not be honoured past their expiry date. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are non-refundable.     

Online or Phone Orders

Delivery Fees

  • Most Deliveries/Orders over $150.00 will be Free (Some exceptions apply to heavy or large items)
  • Orders under $150.00 will be $15.00

Pick Up

If you are located in Toowoomba or Highfields you may and want to shop from home and collect your goodies when you are next in the store, or if you are planning to come to Toowoomba and want to secure your goodies, Please note your order may be held off site if the pickup will be in more than 2 weeks (24 hours notice will be required to return stock to store pre pickup). 

Dispatch

We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours to you! Any orders placed after 12 pm Friday may not be dispatched until we reopen the following Monday, so please bear that in mind when ordering! IF, for some reason, we are unable to get your order out quickly, we will be in contact with you! 


Gypsy and the Chef is not responsible for and is not obliged to refund for the following reasons:



  • Shipping address that has been incorrectly entered by the customer upon placing the order. In the event that a shipping address has been incorrectly entered and cannot be delivered, Australia Post will return it to the Sender, which can take up to 10 business days for us to receive it. We will then resend the parcel to the customer, and new shipping charges may apply.
  • Lost or delayed parcels once lodged with Australia Post
  • In the event that a parcel is lost or stolen, we strongly advise you to contact your local post office for further investigation

Care Is Taken

Occasionally, there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order, a full refund will be issued in the event of this occurring).


Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the product without notice at any time. 



We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.
